Rila and her Happy Bee!

Hi guys!

I think it’s time we introduced the characters in this blog... we’ve been delaying it for so long cos of the onslaught of projects at hand but we shall delay no further! :D

Say hello to Rila and her Happy Bee! :p

Just a head’s up.. I’m the happy bee and the previous posts were all by Rila who’s super adventurous (hence the road trip and food outings) and excited about our new office! We’ve just moved to a new unit downstairs that's big and spacious and now we have our own neatly packed warehouse with ALL the lovely samples and goodies that y’all can redeem for FREE!!! hehe :D

The past week has been tiring but super fun cos we had to pack and move. I know people usually don’t think moving is very fun but I’ve NEVER moved house before and this is like a pseudo-moving experience. Besides, we had painting and carpeting done and it was all very interesting. I suspect Rila and I have grown some biceps the past week from carrying boxes and boxes of awesome samples :D

Oh and how could i miss this out? Our dear Rila received a bouquet of flowers on the first day at our new office! <3 hehe what an awesome start.. Methinks our new office has good fengshui :p and work will get more and more fun! :)

On a separate note, how did you guys spend your Children’s Day? I know there was a lot of confusion cos everyone thought Children’s Day was supposed to be on 1 October but apparently times have changed and it’s now the first Friday of every October! I feel old; like i’m of a different era :p

Children’s Day used to be a day of great fun and I remember the teachers would always prepare little gifts for us as primary school kids.. Currently I do have some friends who are teachers and so I was reminded of the spirit of giving.

Hence, how could SGFreeBee not partake in this special occasion? In our bid to join in the Children's Day fun, we sponsored facial products for the teenagers in Melrose Home Children’s Aid Society! I personally think that was quite thoughtful of my bosses cos the children there were ranging from 13 to 18 years of age and that’s the age when we require the most facial products to keep our ranging hormones from making an appearance on our skin, right? :p anyhow, I’m glad we were able to do our part. As Mother Theresa said, “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then just feed one.” While there is a limit to the extent of help we can provide, I believe every bit counts.

Alright, I’ll have to go off for now.. Have other work to do. But do stay tuned to our blog for more updates okay? Like our facebook page (link provided on the left!) for more real-time notifications of new product launches etc. If you’ve any questions regarding our blog or portal, do comment or write in! :)
